Crossing the Mighty Brahmaputra

To set forth and venture into the virgin territory of Arunachal, one must cross the Mighty Brahmaputra river... the King ...The Brahmaputra is the largest, widest and probably has more water than all the  river in India ....The river is HUGE..n..WIDE...at an average almost 3 to 4 kms at the least, perhaps even more at other places.... It is one of the few rivers in India, in which  the fresh water bottle nosed Dolphins swim...There is a ferry which carries people and vehicles across, the crossing taking about 2 hours plus to touch the other side to Arunachal on the far bank of the river...On one side you see....its like that the river is carrying you to merge into the sea.... and other side you see the green hills....n.. mountain tips covered with white clouds..  welcoming you... And when you climb on the roof of the ferry... it's as if the wind is going to carry you away ,, to the direction you want to go....The 2hr. journey...is Beautiful.... you just don't want it to end.......

After a slow long journey across the gentle waves of the Brahmaputra, you reach across on the other side where the pristine mist covered hills of Arunachal beckon......
