NALANDA, was a learning hub......

The history of Nalanda goes back to 6th century B.C. The place rose into prominence in 5th A.D. century.

Various subjects like theology, grammar, logic, asteonomy, mataphysics, medicine and philisiphy were taught here.
Historical sources indicate that the University had a long and illustrious life which lasted almost continually for 800 years from the fifth to the twelfth century CE.

It was a completely residential university with over 2,000 teachers and 10,000 students. The profound knowledge of the Nalanda teachers attracted scholars from places as distant as China, Korea, Japan, Tibet, Mongolia, Turkey, Sri Lanka and South East Asia. These scholars have left records about the ambience, architecture and learning of this unique university. The most detailed accounts have come from Chinese scholars and the best known of these is Xuan Zang who carried back many hundred scriptures which were later translated into Chinese.
Close to the end of the twelfth century Nalanda was destroyed by invaders

One ferry ride...

Alibaug  is the western coast of India, in Konkan region. It is a quit beach, with very less population and very less pollution.

when I was sitting on the beach, watching the sun go down, it was like there is nobody existing on the planet, it's just me and the sunset. As if everything was on pause, just the sun is going down.....

from Alibaug if somebody has to go to Mum bay, one has to come to Mandawa and catch a ferry, while I was on the ferry sailing, there were sea gull's to give me company. It was a 40min. ride n with gull's flying with me, never wanted those 40min. to end......

I landed on India's most expensive real estate,,,,, Gateway of India...
